Terms of Service
1. Who may use Tutor Track
Accounts are created and controlled by parents or legal guardians aged 18+. Children use the service only through a parent's account and with parental consent. By creating an account you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of each child you enrol.
2. The service
We provide online tutoring in Maths, English, French and Coding for Grades 1–6, delivered by tutors we verify. Lessons are booked as prepaid lesson bundles and delivered live over video. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
3. Payment
Lessons are sold as prepaid bundles (1, 12, 26 or 52 lessons) in Canadian dollars via Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase. [State your refund policy — e.g. unused lessons refundable within 14 days, used lessons non-refundable.] Purchased lessons do not expire unless stated.
4. Session recording
You acknowledge and agree that every live session is recorded for safety and quality, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the authority to consent to your child being recorded.
5. Acceptable use
- Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Do not attempt to identify, contact or arrange lessons with tutors outside the platform.
- Do not misuse, copy or redistribute lesson content or recordings.
- Treat tutors and staff respectfully; we may suspend accounts for abusive conduct.
6. Tutors
Tutors are [independent contractors / employees — confirm], verified through identity documents and admin approval. We facilitate the tutoring relationship and payment but [state the nature of the relationship your lawyer confirms].
7. Cancellation and deletion
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard, which deletes your and your child's personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to [the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months]. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Governing law
